202 domains serve one template MCP server
A network of 202 domains serves an identical boilerplate MCP dataset server with zero real callers and bot-blocking Cloudflare challenges.
During routine crawl operations of public MCP server registries, Capkey indexed 202 distinct second-level domains all advertising active MCP endpoints under the uniform service identifier com.abutly/site (protocol version 2024-11-05, server implementation abutly-mcp). All 202 domains are registered in the .com namespace.
Every single endpoint returns an identical signature of five dataset manipulation tools: dataset_columns, dataset_compare, dataset_preview, dataset_row, and dataset_schema. An examination of the tool descriptions revealed automated string interpolation where only the host domain was replaced—for example, “Read column details and metadata from a specific dataset in {domain} (e.g., users, transactions, orders)”.
Active probes against all 202 endpoints revealed that zero servers respond to real tool invocation requests; all incoming HTTP connections are intercepted by Cloudflare managed challenge screens (returning HTTP 403 Forbidden). Historical crawler telemetry confirms that across all 202 domains, exactly zero payment transactions have ever succeeded, and 30-day recorded buyer volume is 0.
We do not know the operator’s purpose. What we can observe: identical code on 202 domains, zero successful tool calls, zero paying buyers. In accordance with Capkey’s service canonization model, all 202 endpoints have been collapsed into a single canonical entry (canonical service #5370) and tagged with the template badge.
